Catalonia is a region located in the northeast of Spain, bordering France, Andorra, the Mediterranean sea and the Spanish regions of Aragon and Valencia.
Its population is about 7.5 million people, and it’s about the size of Maryland, US, or half the size of Ireland.
You may not know about the region, but we’re sure you already know many things in it. Barcelona, the Pyrenees, the Costa Brava, tapas, the Sagrada Familia, FC Barcelona (Barça), Gaudí, the Olympic Games of ’92 and Salvador Dalí are just a few examples of Catalan things.
Is that all?
No way! The best thing about Catalonia is what you may not know. And that’s why we created this blog. Did you know that all of these places are from Catalonia?
In this blog, we’ll help you discover them all! Furthermore, since many adventurers find it useful, we’ll also include content about other regions known as the Catalan Countries. The what? No worries, we just didn’t want you to miss some great stuff like paella, Andorra or Eivissa (Ibiza).
Awesome, right? Let’s get you started then.
